Casting for season EIGHT is open!

I get this question constantly, “How do I get on Alone?” First let me make clear that I am not a part of the casting process and have no inside track that could help you in any way. There are also a great many false casting people out there who will mimic the actual casting process and ask you to pay money to continue further THEY ARE ALL SCAMS.

You can apply at alonecasting@itv.com You should send a photo, your general stats and any info that showcases your skill, knowledge and experience. You will never be asked to pay money to participate in the casting process.

Where to Discuss Alone Show Online

With Alone season 6 just a few days away, many folks are searching for info on the new contestants, watching sneak peeks, and generally getting amped up for the show! I don’t know about you, but personally I’m HYPED! Haha! Anywho, since I enjoy seeing what others think about the show, I figured I’d share them with you. Casting for Alone Season 7 is Open!

I know that a lot of folks are interested in trying to get onto the Alone show, so here is some information for you! There was a social media post being spread around recently, but for those of you who aren’t Facebook or Instagramers here is the post:

I definitely recommend doing a little research to figure out the way to have a tip-top application to the show. I am not an expert, nor do I have any insider tips, but I do know one thing – applying for shows like this has stiff competition and it pays to put some effort into making a good impression. The past contestants have made comments here and there online about applying for the show and I’ll link some of that below.

Re-watching Alone Season 1

In anticipation of Alone season 5, I have been rewatching the old Alone seasons. I highly recommend it! The reason I’m posting today is to let you know that Season 1 & 2 are actually on Hulu now! You can try Hulu ad-free for 1 month before you have to pay for it, which is pretty sweet. I’m frugal and don’t have TV so this is what I’m doing right now.

HURRAY! The History Channel has finally let us know when Alone season 5 is airing – this summer (UPDATE: JUNE 14)! It’s been a long wait! This time, the location is Mongolia, so that should add some variety to the show which is very exciting.

Woodsong Podcast – get your Alone Show fix while we wait for Season 5!

Howdy, y’all!

Long time, no see! I’ve been wrangling a newborn, but I’m starting to get in a groove and have a lot of posts planned related to Alone Show news.

Season 5 still hasn’t aired (we should be expecting it in the spring), and a lot of us are getting antsy for more of our favorite show!
